How to take

- 1 to 3 hard gelatin capsules a day,
- 1 to 3 coated tablets per day,
- 5 ml of syrup, 2 to 3 times a day.
Tablets and capsules should not be broken, opened or chewed and treatment with this medication should not be done for more than 8 weeks, as the immunostimulating effect can be reduced with prolonged use.
Possible side effects
Side effects can be transient fever and gastrointestinal disorders, such as nausea, vomiting and an unpleasant taste in the mouth after taking it. Various allergic reactions can also occur, such as itching and worsening asthma attacks.
When not to take
Purple echinacea is contraindicated in patients with allergies to plants of the family Asteraceae, with multiple sclerosis, asthma, collagen, HIV positive or tuberculosis.
This remedy is also contraindicated for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under 12.
